We have sad news, our friend Pete Roberts died on Friday 27th March. He was at home with Fiona by his side. Pete had been fighting cancer for over five years. He was strong and had beat it more than once to regain good health and get back to enjoying life. We first met Pete in the early 90's on a scuba diving holiday in the Maldives. We have many happy memories of time spent with Pete, travelling by boat down the Rhone and Moselle rivers and more recently during Pete and Fiona's visit with us in Mexico.

Pete often reminded me of a character out of Dickens. Larger than life, a Mr Micawber full of optimism, jolly and in command. He had an enthusiasm for life with lots of energy. He was truly one of life's characters and we were so lucky to have known him. We shared some great experiences and had lots of happy times together. We will never forget the fun and all the laughs and will miss him very much.
